Nathan E. Dorsey

A shareholder of Dewsnup King Olsen Worel Havas, Nathan Dorsey has extensive litigation and trial experience and is devoted to assisting individuals and families whose lives have been irreparably harmed due to catastrophic injuries and wrongful deaths. Mr. Dorsey’s practice is specialized in the areas of medical malpractice, product liability, and catastrophic accidents. He has successfully handled cases involving manifold injuries, including brain injuries, paralysis, birth injuries, bowel perforation, dental and oral surgery injuries, amputations, and many more. Mr. Dorsey enjoys working with individuals whose lives have been negatively impacted and takes genuine pleasure helping them navigate the sometimes difficult and confusing litigation process.

Prior to joining Dewsnup King Olsen Worel Havas, Mr. Dorsey spent half a decade working for a preeminent national defense law firm, where he defended medical professionals, health care providers, long-term care facilities, and hospitals—including the largest hospital corporation in America—against medical negligence claims. Mr. Dorsey has successfully resolved numerous claims and lawsuits through voluntary settlements, alternative dispute resolution, and jury trials. He credits his effectiveness now as a plaintiff’s lawyer to this prior work in the defense industry, which taught him to see how parties on either side of a case approach complex litigation.

Nate is a native of Utah and currently resides in Bountiful with his wife and three children. He received his bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Utah and his Juris Doctorate from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, where he was a note and comment editor for the Utah Law Review. Nate is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts of Utah. Finally, he is an active member in the David K. Watkiss-Sutherland II Inn of Court and the Utah Association for Justice.
